Smile-Worthy

It’s the middle of December, a time for children and children’s stories – so I’ll start this narrative by saying …

… once upon a time!

Once upon a time I studied and practised ‘proper photography’, in the hope that the images I produced would be 'wall‑worthy' – good enough to hang in our house, in an exhibition or a commercial gallery. But over the last few years I've been creating images that are just ‘smile‑worthy’ (rather than ‘wall-worthy’) – ones that simply aim to bring me pleasure in every stage of their creation.
